1. About SOFL and these terms

School of Financial Literacy (SOFL) is operated by Frosty Hills, based in Vadodara, Gujarat, India. These terms apply to https://sofl.co.in, your SOFL account and purchases made through the website. "We", "us" and "our" mean Frosty Hills.

Read these terms, the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and product description before registering or purchasing. Registration and purchases require agreement to the applicable terms. Optional tracking and marketing require separate choices.

2. Accounts and younger learners

Provide accurate information and keep your login details private. Your name and email address are required. Additional profile details, including your date of birth, are optional.

You may register using email and password or Google Sign-In. Each account is for one learner and must not be shared, sold or transferred.

If you are under 18, you must have a parent or legal guardian’s permission to register and use SOFL. Your parent or guardian must review and agree to these Terms for your use of the platform. Purchases must be made or authorised by your parent or guardian, with the payment account holder’s permission.

SOFL does not currently verify users’ ages or parental permission during registration.

3. Devices and account security

Each account may be used on a maximum of two devices, with only one active login session at a time. A session on another device must end before a new active session starts.

Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. We may take proportionate steps to secure the account and verify your identity before restoring access.

4. Products and purchases

FinLexicon and Wealth Notes are separate paid products and are purchased separately. Buying one does not include the other.

Wealth Notes includes Fine Print and Wide Angle. Purchases cover the product described at checkout. Free samples do not unlock all premium content.

The price, applicable taxes and product details are shown before payment. Payments are processed through Razorpay. You must use an authorised payment method and provide accurate billing details.

Current products do not include certificates. Future Learning Studio courses will offer certificates under the conditions stated when those courses launch. Buying FinLexicon or Wealth Notes does not include those courses.

5. Lifetime access

Lifetime access means access to the purchased product for as long as SOFL continues to operate that product through its website. It is not a promise of access for your natural lifetime or a guarantee that a product or website will operate forever.

The purchase is a one-time payment for the relevant product, with no renewal fee or automatic recurring charge. Future content added within that purchased product is included. Separately launched products and courses are not included unless expressly stated.

Where the website uses the word "subscription" for these products, it refers to this purchased lifetime access, not an automatically renewing plan.

Access remains subject to these terms, including account security, personal use and the consequences of permanent account deletion. We will not use changes to these terms to unfairly remove valid purchased access.

If a purchased product is permanently discontinued, we will give reasonable notice where possible and honour any remedy required by law. This lifetime definition does not remove your rights if the product or service is deficient, misleadingly described or not supplied as promised.

6. Activation and payment problems

Purchased access normally starts immediately after a successful payment and verification. The stated maximum activation time is 30 minutes after a successful payment. Failed, pending or unverified payments do not activate paid access.

If access has not started within 30 minutes of a successful payment, contact Support or support@frostyhills.com with your registered email and payment reference. We will verify the payment and resolve the problem.

Payment status and purchase confirmation are provided through email and platform notifications. If your bank shows a debit but the payment is pending or failed, contact us before making repeated payments.

7. Refunds

Please read the separate Refund Policy before purchasing. Purchases are final, and we do not offer refunds simply because you change your mind, buy by mistake, do not use the product or no longer need it.

Confirmed duplicate or excess payments will be corrected. Refunds or other remedies required by law remain available, including where purchased services are deficient or not delivered as promised. These terms do not override those rights.

8. Personal use and content protection

Your purchase gives you permission to access the relevant content for your own learning through SOFL. It does not transfer ownership of the content or intellectual property rights.

Learning content is provided online. Downloads and offline access are not offered. Except where applicable law permits, you must not download, print, export, record, copy, distribute, republish, sell or commercially exploit protected content without written permission.

You may use Share buttons to share a page link. Sharing a link does not transfer content, account access or purchase rights. The recipient must meet the page's access requirements, including purchasing the relevant premium product where required.

Do not bypass access restrictions, scrape or bulk-copy content, interfere with security, upload harmful material, impersonate someone or use SOFL unlawfully.

9. Educational purpose

SOFL provides financial education. Its articles, dictionary entries, videos, quizzes and examples help you learn; they are not personalised investment, tax, legal or insurance advice, a recommendation to buy or sell, or a promise of returns.

Financial Profile review is used to suggest relevant educational content. It is not a suitability assessment or an agreement to manage your investments.

Examples may simplify a topic. Laws, taxes and markets can change. Check relevant information and seek qualified advice where needed before making a financial decision.

10. Account recovery and suspension

If you registered with email and password, you can reset your password through your registered email. Contact support if you cannot recover access. Identity checks may be required. Recovery of the same account preserves valid purchased access.

Registered email addresses currently cannot be changed through account settings. Contact support about errors or access problems; an email change is not guaranteed.

We may restrict or suspend an account where reasonably necessary to investigate unauthorised access, account sharing, fraud, misuse or a breach of these terms. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and allow you to contact support. Urgent security action may be taken without advance notice.

Permanent closure for a serious or repeated breach must be proportionate and subject to applicable law. It does not remove any consumer remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Deactivation and permanent deletion

Temporary deactivation is intended to disable use of your account while retaining the information and purchased access needed for secure reactivation. It does not, by itself, cancel a valid lifetime purchase.

Permanent deletion closes the account and permanently removes the purchased access linked to it. You should choose it only after understanding that consequence. Creating a new account does not automatically restore purchases from a deleted account.

Voluntary deletion does not, by itself, create a refund entitlement. Your statutory rights and any refund otherwise required by law remain unaffected. Some transaction, billing and security records may remain as explained in the Privacy Policy.

12. Website operation and changes

SOFL supports computers, tablets and smartphones using current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. You need a compatible browser and internet connection.

Access and payment options may vary by country, law or provider restrictions. Third-party sites and services, including linked pages and embedded videos, may have their own terms and privacy notices.

Maintenance, updates, hosting problems, security incidents or other technical issues can temporarily interrupt access. We will make reasonable efforts to restore service and provide advance maintenance notices where possible.

No numerical uptime guarantee is made in these terms. Planned: Review, monitoring and measurement of service availability before any separate availability commitment is published.

We may update or improve content, correct errors and change the website layout. Such changes must not unfairly deprive you of the purchased product or override mandatory remedies.

13. Responsibility and legal rights

We take reasonable care in providing SOFL but cannot promise error-free content or uninterrupted access. You remain responsible for financial decisions you make using what you learn.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for investment losses caused solely by your independent financial decisions or for failures of your device or internet connection outside our control.

Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility for fraud, deficient services, misleading statements or any liability or consumer remedy that cannot lawfully be limited.

14. Changes to these terms and applicable law

We may update these terms for changes in services or legal requirements. We will show the updated date and communicate material changes through email and platform notices. Changes will not retrospectively remove an agreed purchase benefit or mandatory right.

These terms are governed by Indian law. Where legally competent, courts at Vadodara, Gujarat may hear disputes. This does not prevent you from approaching a consumer commission or another competent authority or court available under mandatory law.

15. Support and complaints

For help, raise a Support ticket or email support@frostyhills.com with your registered email, a short explanation and any payment reference. Never share passwords, OTPs, CVVs or payment PINs.

Consumer complaints will be acknowledged within 48 hours and addressed within one month of receipt, subject to any shorter applicable legal deadline. We will provide a record or reference for your complaint and any copy required by law. You do not lose your right to use an external legal remedy by contacting us.
